Default Propane and Oxygen hose storage, time limit

How long can propane and oxygen hoses be stored and still be useable? I have some that have been stored in a box for at least 10 years...they aren't stiff and seem fine.

Steph, I think the primary concern is whether you see any micro cracks in the hose when bent. That would give you a good indication of safety. I've read that they should be replaced every 10-12 years, but honestly, I've been using mine for over 20, stored inside when not in use, and they're fine.

And I believe it was Craig from arrow springs who mentioned to me that what really counts is the inside and that if it is in good shape the hose is still usable. I don't know how you would tell other than maybe blowing some air through it and see if any bits of the lining come out or not but I think if it has been stored inside maybe that's a good sign?
