Looking for source/sites for metal stamps
I'm looking for a good source for metal stamps to stamp on sterling. Everytime I google it, I get industrial sites!

Hi Karen! I just received some new stamps friday.I bought them from Michelle at Evie's Tool Emporium on etsy. I haven't used them yet, but they look decent and are in a wooden box. She seems very kind and helpful.

Thanks . I should have said that I already have letters, though! I'm looking for a few designs now.

Thunderbird Supply sells a lot of stamp designs. They're a primary vendor for native artists in Gallup/Albuquerque, and do those kinds of designs...

You could also try RomaZone on ebay, Connie Fox at www.Jatayu.com, and www.harpermfg.com.

don't use the Tandy ones on silver
the cheapest is thunderbird, and then the ones they don't have you can find with Lisa Niven Kelly at beaducation. She has a great spiral that I couldn't find anywhere else.
it's hard to find the unusual ones but the 'usual' are everywhere, so you can shop by price.
that's my experience anyhow

Lisa was out of stock on some I wanted (should have snatched them the first night at B and B) and so I just ordered some from Roma Zone. She was a fast shipper, now we'll see what they are like when they get here. I don't know why I didn't think of Metalliferous, that is where I get all my silver, duh. If she gets it back in stock, Lisa's spiral was really nice. jeri

Try looking for brass stamps used for sealing wax on letters.
ETA - nevermind, these are large and can be used on beads.
