Default Low on color but formed ok

Anouk yours look fabulous!! I just plucked mine out of the kiln tonight and the color leaves something to be desired. I'll post them to your creature thread as well.

Donna they look great. I can't try it until it cools down a bit here. Then I doubt that I have enough oxy to get the torch hot enough.

Thanks Jan, give it a whirl you never know. I run the center fire of my Phantom, basically a lynx on two invacare oxycons. Can't run the outer fire until I can get some heat protection for my windows on the back side of my table. Had no clue when I bought it how long the flame would be with the outer fire going!!

Pipyr Can your tutorial be adapted to soft glass?

Hey Tina The truth is, I really don't know It would be a challenge to make this piece in soft glass, but I'm sure it can be done. You would definitely need a kiln that you could put part in while you were working on another part. In general, glass is glass and I know all the parts can be made in soft glass. It would probably just take some extra caution to keep everything warm to prevent cracking...oh...and a lot less heat

I just bought it from your site. Will see how mine come out. Yes going to try this. Ahem don't laugh if they look like grumpy ole men and women.

I will try to answer the last about soft glass. Just make sure your glass stays warm. Other wise it will pop or crack. So then it should be ok if every thing goes well. I might try it to.

Whoo Hoo Hoo! I made my 1st creature! I think it took me an hour and a half! Pipyr thanks for adding the advice to not hurry. I forget that so often. The hardest part was turning the pages with a rod in each hand! Great tut Pipyr!

I found my boro finally. It was in a mass mess that is in a small nitch between the shelfs. So this helps a bunch. Now I can play. Might try some with some 104 also. Just might be a challenge.
Thanks Pipyr for putting this tut together.

Bought this tut ages ago, but only got the coloured boro yesterday. spent 2 hours working on a creature last night, popped it into the kiln then went upstairs to have a late supper. Just before I was getting into bed I thought, oh, I should go scheck the kiln, just incase I messed up the programming. Sure enough, the kiln was at 1700. Sigh. So now I have a dead creature. Not totaly lost though, just flat and dead. Perhaps it will become a fridge magnet. Posted for your amusement.

You may have posted it for our amusement but you have the only creature magnet on the planet earth that I know of!

Really cool.
