Source for micro beads?
I am looking for a source for micro beads to use in electroforming for texture. I have read that hobby stores carry them but so far no luck.

Patricia,
I think these would work for what you are doing:
http://www.sciplus.com/category.cfm/...s/11/srch.fp/1
It is American Science and Surplus and I was looking at the beads in their store last weekend thinking that they would be good for that.
Let me know if you have any questions about them.
Hope this helps.

If you don't mind me asking here, with what and how do you glue them on the bead before you electroform it?

Any white glue would work. Paint on the glue & roll the bead in the microbeads or pour over.

i got my beads at michaels crafts, they were back by the etch cream and the faux stained glass supplies. i have a bunch if anyone wants them, i thought they were what was used for the "sugaring" effect on beads.... opps.
