Default Boro Haze

I'm kind of new to boro...played with it a teenie weenie bit but just got a second oxycon and using it again. On amber purple...I'm heating it close to the candles and then getting the right shape. I bring it back in up in the flame. Seem to be getting different colors but there's like a cloudy haze to it. How do I get rid of that?
Thanks
Irene

Blast it with OXY, Reenie! Then let it cool to below glow, bring it back to the flame to strike...
Have fun!

if you have a surface mix torch, stay further away from the end of the candles. On my minor, I can't get that close as it is reducing that close.
