You have to have a VERY steady hand and good at judging amount of glass in each dot. It’s a young man’s/women’s game imo. Also, I try to stay away from pursuits that as you approach perfection you still know a machine could do it better. Be creative, machines aren’t very good at doing that.

Yes! chased italian style caneworked vessels in the hotshop for years and always felt this way. Now I favor more abstract organic work. So many do dotstacked boro that its become trite and repetitive.
