Default Kalera's Romance Blend frit

I just bought some of this yesterday and made some test beads last night. They seems to come out pretty dark and greenish brown with one or two purple specks. Is there striking glass in this frit? Any tips on how to work it or more pics of what it should look like?

What glass are you putting it on?
It reacts to ivory with that classic dark line around each piece.
I use it on ivory but very sparingly.
Try applying it lightly on white and see what you get.

Yeah I used it on ivory and Canyon du Chelly. I'll try it on something lighter and non reactive next torch session.

To use it on reactive glass, put dots of clear and dip the dots in the frit...very pretty.

It has raku in it. I am raku challenged, so I get tan.
In this thread http://lampworketc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=186181 Kalera answers any questions you may have. Very cool thread!

Default Pic of two color combos with Kalera's Romance frit

I just wanted to share that I LOVE Kalera's Romance frit blend. I just tried it this weekend on CIM's Thai Orchid and CIM's Mermaid - unencased. Came out DELISH! (I also love it on Effetre Periwinkle).

I added more Z-99 frit to mine - it makes it really pop

I did the same thing, Donna!
It is gorgeous on silver pink--glossy or etched.
