Question diamond drill bits - not all are equal

I am having a heck of a time finding diamond embedded drill bits. I believe they are called "sintered" bits. I use a dremel tool and have tried the cheap "bead reamer" diamond coated bits but they wear down very quickly. Does anyone know of a source for this type of bit? Or suggestions for what you may have found to be a good bead reamer bit for a dremel type tool? Please direct me if you do!
Thanks!

You might try here: http://www.artintheround.com/categor...ning-Tools.htm

They're expensive but last a long time if used properly.

I was at Pratt Art Center on Sunday for the Fire and Rain meeting and to make beads for BOC. One of the women had a cool tip for cleaning bead holes.

Get a small amount of silica Carbide grit in about 220 or 320 grit size. After getting all the release out that you can with the mandrel dip the wetted mandrel in the grit and run it in and out of the hole over a dish or some other contaner to catch the grit. She said it does a really great job. We also talked about using the mandrel in a dremel or even using a wet pipe cleaner to hold the grit and run in/out of the hole.

I haven't tried it but she assured us it works well, is quick, and leaves a very smooth finish.

arrow springs has one also.

I just took a bead reamer that I bought at michaels and DH took the handle off of it and I use it in my dremel.

PJ i love the grit method. for my super big beads, i have to do it that way, there just isnt a diamond file long enough to reach through the hole.

we use foredom bits in our shop.

BeaDreamer - I have had mine since 2006 and I clean hundreds of beads a week most of the time. It's amazing how long it has lasted.

These really last and do a great job. Their shape is good for all kinds of beads too. Well worth the investment.
