My first impression was that it doesn't look like glass beads at all.
Looks more like enameled pottery.
However, I've never seen a press similar.

I second that. It looks like ceramic to me, too. Pretty though!

They also could be vintage (or a copy of) german or czech beads. I collect those in similar odd shades although I don't have any that are that specific shape.

After a look in her Etsy shop I would say she's good at free shaping.
I just don't think the beads were made with a press.

I think Loco is right. There is a method used by Japanese bead makers as well as German makers where they press with a paddle or knife while the bead is probably warmer than you might ordinarily have it. I think if you look up nugget beads you will find the general method involved. In a Michael Barley class , he used this pressing method to get the general shape. The final result was not the geometric shape you have pictured but you could just stop shaping once you get to the flattened areas you want.

I think I've seen that press somewhere---let me look. I almost think it's a Bavarian.

I´ve made these beads with a press from Bavarian Beads. It isn`t in her Shop yet, but you can ask Manuela to get it.
(Sorry for the bad pic)

Thank you Susan (Akebia),
Would you please tell me the name for this press?

When I bought it, it hadn`t a name, but I can ask whether it has a name in between. I only know that it is an absolutely new one and for this reason it isn`t listed in her Shop yet.
