Default Yet Another Use For Crimp Pliers...

I used them today when removing beads from their mandrels... no skidding, no mangling. I'm not sure why I reached for them... but they sure work!

my best method for stubborn stickers has been to soak them in water....then use the pair of stained glass pliers that i have that the business ends are really wide and covered with pads of rubber about 1/4" thick. I grip the bead gently with these and use vice grips to hold the mandrel and VERY gently twist in opposite directions. this only really works if the bead is a smooth shape and not one of my critters with alot of detailed add ons.
