Whale Tails
Does anyone have any neat ideas for a whale tail pendant? I tried to make just a simple one out of a cobalt rod and it looks good but i was just curious if anyones tried this and had any success. Im open to any cool ideas. I want to give it to one of my teachers for christmas.

I've been planning whale tails for months now, but they haven't made to the top of the to do list. I'm off work all next week, so I'm planning to get some done finally!! I'll post pics.
You could certainly use some ivory or white frit to add the mottled look.

Start with a cone, add wings to the skinny part of the cone. Thats the basic shape I use.
here is a pic for inspiration!

Hope it helps!

Wow, that's really good. I like the idea. I'd love the see the finished item when you're done creating.
Why can't I think of those things??
