Default Ever silvered raku?

Finally able to get back on the torch. Did a quick search and didn't come up with an answer. Have you ever silvered raku like you silver ivory and pull stringer to use in beads? Any examples?

Thank you, thank you.

All I can say is try it, I was pondering glasses that do not go well with silver. They look good going into the kiln, and like poo coming out.

I think I've seen a few etched with raku and silver.. Nothing else comes to mind.. I tried ambers tut on spreading glass and it got eaten by SIS stringer if that helps...

Haven't ever tried it since it has silver in it (it's the silver crystals that make the colors change.) Who knows, you may get interesting results.

(If the link doesn't work, edit the s out of your browser. It should be "http" not "https" Sometimes LE put in an S just for the heck of it.)

experiment a little. I've rolled Hades in silver foil and then put raku on top.. I'm not sure if it was the silver or how i applied it that helped. (it helps when you apply it thin so the heat soaks it nice and thoroughly)
