Default Tutorial search for "Kristina-Logan-style" beads

Hi there everyone,

Ive been scouring the web's glass tutorials and cannot find a tutorial on how to make those lovely disk beads that Kristina Logan and Das Unikal create.

If you have one, would be happy to purchase! (or receive for free if you feel like 'xmas-sy' on the inside)

Thank you!

Wow, that was incredible! Thank you for asking about Kristina Logan's disc beads, "Lollopops" and for posting this you tube video, Hayley. I was only going to watch for a few minutes but I ended up watching the whole thing. Kristina's work is gorgeous!

DH and I were in that class. It was phenomenal and Kristina is such a kind, patient teacher. If you ever get a chance to take a class from her, DO IT! You will never regret it.

I watched that whole thing. Went to the torch with such confidence that I'd make a duplicate bead...

Trashed 2... got to the last step on #3 and blew it with the raking. Trashed that one too.

Sometimes I forget how hard it is to learn a new lampworking skill. She made it look so effortless.

Thanks you for the video link. I did have a look at it and it is awesome! Would you know if this tutorial is in print or PDF text? That way I can take it with me to the studio I rent time at.

Many thanks again!

Awesome link for kristina logan. It took me a while to watch but it was awesome! She makes it look SO easy! I made a small one and it took me forever and still came out a bit on the messy side but it was SOOOO much fun!!

The new issue of the Soda Lime Times also has a tut from Bobbie Pene who learned from Kristina, and a few pointers from Kristina herself as well as a link to the video. I made one yesterday and was pretty pleased with it.

ugghh....The line's aren't even. The color bled in a few spots....I gotta keep trying. This was my first one however so I have to say I'm pleased that at least I got the concept down!
