Is " Multi color" an actual color?
Is there a color called this?

Yes, there is. It's Reichenbach and you get it in COE 96 and 104.
There's a Multicolor and a Multicolor Dark.

Judith: is that a similar difference as between the Gaffer chalcedony and blue chalcedony?
ETA: love your new avatar.

Does dark multicolor continue to strike in the kiln? I have some in there now and don't want them to overstrike.

Thanks Maren, that's my oldest daughter, Charlotte (4yo).
Both sets are made only with Multicolor (no other base color, no encasing).
The regular Multicolor (1st set) is COE 104.
The dark Multicolor (2nd set) is COE 96.
I haven't tried the COE96 Multicolor regular yet.
I did try the Multicolor dark in both versions, and didn't see a huge difference. However, other people found they get a nicer color range with the COE96 than 104.
Melanie, your bead is fabulous. I love the soft lavender colors that you got!

Thanks Judith and Jacqueline!
I have almost no experience with this colour (this is the only bead I've made with it) so I'm dying to see how consistent it is. It seems pretty easy to strike though... it basically got those colours all by itself after I pressed it in my lentil press and heated the chill marks out.

Can I ask where you purchased it? I asked T and she said she did not have any.

Suzanne got it when we went down to OCR in December, and I traded some regular multicolor to her for a few rods of the dark.
I have some regular multicolor if you want some - it's fun too. Let me know

If you can spare an inch or two that would be great lol, I will just hold it in the heat with my scarred up super woman hands.
