Default Our Ventilation (in progress)

I built the frame of the vent so far. We're going to use 5/8" fire wall sheet rock on the inside walls and 1/2" sheet rock on the outside walls. Two 745cfm blowers will be mounted to the top (one for each station) and go out the wall to the left with two 8" fresh air ducts coming into the bottom of each station. As soon as we order the blowers I'll be able to finish the top of the frame!

Honestly, I'd much rather see the inside lined with galvanized metal than sheet rock. There is still paper on the sheet rock, which will burn and stink -- then it peels away, leaving the gypsum material open to fresh air, which dries it out and turns it into messy powder.

Use at least 1/4" spacers between the sheet metal and the wood framing to keep the wood from igniting, just in case.
