Default Big Safety!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have an out side cabinet with a lock for combustables. Then any thing that would exploded.
Any canned or solvent that would be used in jewelry making.
Make sure your ventilation works properly.
Make sure you have an extra door for escape.
Then enough air return.
A charged fire extinquisher easy to get to.
Shake it up at least once per week. The chemicals will settle to the bottom.
Get a carbonmonoxcide meter as well as a smoke alarm.
If you have the income to do this get an sprinkler system for fire.
Don't know if I said that right.
Why are you asking why this is here.
My studio is blackened by fire. Looking out the back door it one trip to hell.
You learn to be safe and more.
Ask if you can the fire chief if your studio is set up the right way.
That is what I'm going to do the next time around.
Make sure you use some other type of heat other than propane or space heater.
That is another thing I'm looking for.
Expensive lesson.
Have fun and torch and create safely.

From "Safety Emporium"
Some manufacturers recommend shaking your dry chemical extinguishers once a month to prevent the powder from settling/packing. We are dubious this has any value (see this Ansul technical bulletin for a detailed discussion*), but you are going to pick it up to inspect it anyway, so why not give it a good shake?

I so would rather be safe then sorry.
This we did on the school bus every week.
Used it once when the battery went and started a fire.
