Platinum 10 for a minor on boro?
Hi, i am considering getting an Invacare Platinum 10 from Mountain Glass to run a Minor (possibly a Mega Minor) on a Red Max. I plan to work boro and was wondering if this would be enough power, and if the concentrator would make the flame fluctuate at all. If anyone has any experience with this type of setup or similar I would appreciate any and all input. Thanks

It will run it fine. Now the breathing issue is not even noticeable on any of my concentrators and 2 of mine are invacare.
I ran a GTT Cheetah on a 8lpm machine, your 10 will rage a minor pretty good.

An air holding tank can help with the breathing.

You don't buy oxygen machines from retailers - you buy the warranties they come with. Either pick a machine that comes from a place that has a good history of backing up their warranties, or buy them used from craigslist, old folks' homes, etc., where they should be a lot cheaper than at any retailer.
I've had good experience with and only heard good things about Available/Oxygen and hobbiesforus. They're both on the cheap side, as far as retailers go.
