Lots of stuff: beads, pipes, perfume bottles, christmas ornaments, etc........ And what ever new stuff you can think up! It is very different than working rod, but a lot of fun if a bit frustrating at first.

I haven't been able to find any tutorials for you.... but I have been playing with some tubing and it is incredibly fun. With not much practice and waste the group of people I play with have been making wonderful christmas ornaments and mini perfume bottles. Makes you feel like you are a glass blower! The basics are so easy that someone could walk you through it. You do have to have a big flame or it takes forever.

Try the gldg forum... it's more of a pipe maker board, but it's got tons of tubing info.

Check out Glass Line magazine. In the last few issues there have been tutorials on doing implosion pendants, inside out beads, vessels, marbles, Christmas ornaments, and more using tubing. www.hotglass.com

There is an interesting tutorial using a tube at:
http://www.glassartists.org/Gal15510..._Rose_Demo.asp
I thought we had the same one in our tutorial section, but I couldn't find it! I've used this tut for pendants and turtles.

I like Simax..... The tubes are a foot longer than Pyrex, and the ends come firepolished..... IMO it is a little less stiff than pyrex.....
What I don't like ablot Simax, is silver fume tends to not stick as well as pyrex.....
