Default Bobcat, Devilbiss MC 44-90

I have a GTT Bobcat and love it. I would like to run it with another concentrator because I believe it will help give me a better flame (larger, cleaner).

First question. I have a Devilbiss MC 44-90, 5LPM. How do I find the psi and does this matter when looking for another concentrator? I don't have a guage on the o2.

My thinking is I will get another 5 LPM or higher because of cost. It will be easier to get another, vs. sell this one, ship it, etc.

Anyone understand what I am asking?

Thanks in advance!

Most instruction manuals will list the PSI of the machine. If you do not have a manual some can be found by searching the net. Or contact Devilbiss or see if their website sill lists the machine.

Two machines can be connected together by using a "T" connector. Usually 1/4 inch to fit a hose with a 1/4 inch ID. Both machines should have the same output pressure. i.e. 5 PSI to a 5 PSI machine or a 10 PSI to a 10 PSI machine.

I am running a bobcat on two m-15's I got from jack at oxygen unlimited. Originally ran it on one of them. Huge difference with two vs one - way closer to having tanked. I can get a much bigger oxidizing flame and even do large boro pretty well.

I think you'll love having a second one.

The MC-4490 is a 5LPM and 9PSI Oxygen Concentrator. It would be best to mate it with another Devilbiss (MC 44-90, MC64, MC84, Solairis 505) as they are also 5LPM and 9PSI.

I'm giving away a free Solairis 505 in the sale rack
