Default MikeAurelius saved my life

After reading Mike's ranting and raving about keeping your propane outside, I finally said, "hm maybe he's trying to tell me something". So when I changed from a hothead to the mini cc, and upgraded my studio, I decided to put the @#@##!!!propane outside. When I would disconnect my regulator at the end of a session I would smell a little propane, but I thought it was normal to smell just a little bit of propane. Being new to this and working alone, I had not checked all of my connections properly and I just did not knew any better !!!! I had a leak!!!! Finally, I discovered it and tightened all of my connections properly. If my propane cylinder had been leaking INSIDE my basement I know the results would have been disasterous!! Since the leak was outside the propane escaped into the air and I'm here to write about it!!!
I'm grateful for all of the information that people share in this forum. Mike, thanks so much for your consistency.

Yes, leaks happen with propane water heaters in basements sometimes. Natural gas too. Ka-boom.
