Default Programing a Bartlet 3 key controller for boro

I was wondering if anyone can clue me in on this as for boro?
I went to the site and printed out the instructions but they are clear as mudd! LOL Well, it shows a set up for fusing...... can I just put in the boro info in place? And if so, what shoud I put, there seems to be so many differnt suggestions for garaging, ramping down.......gosh whats a gal to do If someone could point me to a thread perhaps??
It took me forever to set up the kiln for soft glass, I kept batch annealing in my other out of fear to get this one going...... it has been one big thing to keep me from trying boro but I really really want to give it a whirl..........
Thanks for the help!!
Sue

Each manufacturer of the boro I use has a suggested annealing cycle. That would be a good place to start.

Here's what we (my husband and I) do.
Garaging temp at 850 degrees F, ramping up at 1400 degrees F/hour
Hold for as long as you want to work
Ramp up to 1107 at 804 degrees F/ hour
Hold for 3 hours
Ramp down to 93 degrees F at 1001 degrees/hour
Hold for 3 minutes
Kiln will cool down on its own from there

This is not a "set in stone" thing. It's just what we do.
Hope this helps.

P.S.-Welcome to the dark side!
