I'm currently using it as a focal art piece called "Ode to a Bundle of Glass Upon Thy Shelf"

Kandice was not happy with it. She said it isn't that fuschia color she was looking for.

Perfect Deb made some lily beads with it.
It's a lovely port wine colour, but not bright hot pink.

Any examples of beads made with it available? I would love to see a bead with it before I buy any of the glass. Thanks. Lydia

Mine I found intensely dark and disappointing until Donna mentioned that it goes a long way by 'watering' it down with clear or white. Tried that and got a much clearer brighter pink with very little rod. Sorry... No photos :-/

Caitie, thanks for explaining how to use the color for best effect. It sounds a bit like Rubino Oro where a little bit goes a long way. Lydia

tips for using it.
I was told to use a cooler temp to torch with it but I have not been successful(but I keep trying). Right now I have just been trying it on white so I will try clear today. I have put it on thin and thick and am getting just a brown colour. My torch is a scorpion and I have a oxygen concentrator and propane.

I use a Minor running on tanked oxy and household natural gas. I have found that this setup runs cooler than using propane. I have layered my Ruby Royale over clear and I was very happy with the color: lovely rich burgundy that is also transparent. So, cooler may be better?
HTH...I plan to play with it again the Friday after Thanksgiving ))

Oh! See, *now* I'm intrigued... Not exactly a pink person (I don't expect to ever use up the thing of gold ruby I bought like ten years ago, as for example), but I do like dark purpley reds...
Got pics?
