Default Etched beads get dirty

Anyone know how to clean them? They are more porous, so dirt sort of absorbs into these pores.
In the future, I will treat the bead with a wax sealant, but first I need to know how to clean it. =)

I've just washed them in warm soapy water. I think the wax sealant is a good idea--I'll have to try that.
