Seeking help in Alberta, Canada
My EX 15 oxy con has finally given up the ghost. Well not quite as it still runs, but most certainly is not putting out enough oxygen.
Upon calling a few medical supply companies, I’m told they send their machines back to the manufacturer for repair.
Does anyone here know of a place, hopefully in Edmonton as that is my closest city, that will repair or service my oxygen concentrator?

I do not, but have you checked your filters? I have an inner and an outer filter and I have heard that if you let them get dirty it slows down the oxygen output.

Thanks so much! Yes. I’ve cleaned all the filters. It is 14 years old, so I imagine something has finally broke down on it.

Have you opened it up?
They often have plastic tubing that can get brittle with age and can crack and break into chunks that will fall right off.
If that is the problem you can replace it yourself with clear plastic tubing from the hardware store.

Thanks so much Phil!
I did watch a YouTube vid on that very thing with medical concentrators. I really tried to get the back off! I had all the screws out that I could find and still could not get the front and back to pry apart.
Are you familiar with the EX15? I think it’s from extreme oxygen? I would definitely try again if someone could tell me how to get the back off. I’m pretty handy when it comes to stuff like that but this has me stumped. Is there a hidden screw somewhere?

I didn’t try because I thought I read they were no longer in business. I’ll see if I can find a number that’ll work from Canada. I mean most often the 800 numbers won’t.
Thanks for all the advice y’all.
