with a little practice you can color clear tubing by wrapping colored rod around the tubing

You sell the tubing with all those colors on the tubing for 60.00 a pound? Where are you located?

Hi Deb,

I'm located in North Carolina. The tube you get will be straight lines on whatever color pattern you buy. Its ready to work tube, if making a spoon you can basically shape the spoon and its done, add some wigwags before shaping if you want some squiggles.

1 lb of tubing is good for making about 12 spoons off of, 10 sherlocks, 40 reverse balls, or your combination of whatever you like.

There are a lot of people making custom colored tubing. Northstar and Glass Alchemy also make their own colored tubing. There is also the Asian colored tubing.

What I like about this tubing in the post by LePatron is the bright colors and the crisp lines between them.

Thanks. With respect to glass, if I cant smoke it, I dont make it. Pipes are a little out of place on this forum, they dont seem to get much of the spotlight here, more beads and soft glass work. Time to help increase our population!

I cant speak for others tubing, but generally mine is around 22-28mm x 4-6mm. It can vary a tiny bit per pull since it is all done by hand, every pound is made by itself. If you special order, we can pull it as gently as 14" long for 1 lb with a diameter of 40x15mm or so, but then you as the end user would have to pull out sections each time you wanted to work from the tube. Of course, we can also pull them longer and skinnier but it will always be approximate and less shipping friendly.

Whenever anyone wants tube, we send back a photo of the tubes we have in stock. Pick from them and there's your order.

Here's a picture of some pieces from tube I made up the day before.

Yes, TAG Blue Blizzard and Red Blizzard I have for others too. Both fantastic colors, but horribly expensive! They also make a Slyme color which looks like Ghostbusters, that's the greenish-yellow on the other martini slide.

Thanks. Its been hard to keep it in stock just from mentioning it here once or twice.... I am after all, just one man. Right now I have some purple/blue/white fade to clear tube, orange/gold/red fade to clear tube, and some rainbow with unobtanium on every other line and a white backing..... I really love sparkles in tube. Bling is greatness.
