Here are a couple of tube implosions that I learned how to do from this tutorial. The blueish one is actually a cremation bead. It is my Brothers cremains. You can see the cremains like frit on the backs. Thanks for the tutorial Brent.

but on both i cant get the center dots to implode, they do implode a little but not as much as the on the sides of the maria/bubble
the ones on the sides look like shark teeth but the in the middle dont come up as much
what can i improve

Frank, it's all about heat control... get the center hotter... maybe change your angle and get it to "move" more. Keep trying... you'll get it. I know i had all sorts of trouble at first and then it just started to make sense.

Thanks for the tutorials!! I can't make the final product yet, but the other tips have helped me out a ton.
I do have a question though. I can't seem to get a lens. The glass seems to "doughnut" up on me and the middle doesn't get afffected. not sure if im explaining it too well, but would like to know if maybe im focusing heat in wrong place. I'm putting the flame on the shoulder of the glass. do i need to focus more on the face(back of pendent)? Can't wait to get out there and try it again!

Yep, a nice over all heat is the key. It will soak in to the center. You'll get a bit of an indent on the future lens, but can correct and shape that once the tube is removed. More heat or better distribution of heat solves a lot of issues with this tech.

Here are my latest attempts. I just can't seem to get the full implosion like I get when I use a solid rod.

Once you have it thickened up and it kinda looks like a rod implosion, treat it like one for the "bloom" effect.

Questions galore. Is there anyway to save a blowout? So, I get a bubble dot it and reduce it, no marver till it's almost fully reduced, what I have is a real small bubble with real small dots and no room to implode? If I screwed up pulling a point and it's way to short is it fixable? Thanks for your tuts, they are awesome!
