Schott clear 90COE
As I understand it they don't make clear Schott 90 anymore. I have about 18Lbs. Does anyone have an idea or can tell me what it cost per LB when you could get it??

I can't remember the name it's sold under now, but Melodie arranged a bulk buy directly from Schott for it earlier this year. I think it was about $8 per pound. If only we could get a great 104 clear at that price!

We can still order in Schott 90 COE by the case. Per pound price $6.96 in case qty discounts.
On average they run $27 / lb list when sold by the rod or pound.

Ron, how many pounds would a case be for someone who wanted to order it? What size or sizes can be ordered this way? Is the $6.96 the price you would charge and could it be drop shipped directly to the person ordering it? I would be interested in an order and would be willing to split with anyone wanting to purchase some of it at cost.

What size would you be looking for? Most cases run 35 - 50 lbs of glass.

I would guess that it would be a larger size, like maybe 8mm or 10mm to use for encasing. I'm sure it all has to be one size if it's a case. If people want to chime in on the size they are looking for and figure out what the cost per pound would be we can get the ball rolling. Ron, can you give us an idea of price per pound? We can figure out the break down shipping costs on an individual persons size order and distance to ship. My being in the mid west instead of either coast might help out more people with shipping charges.

6mm case is 33.1 lbs
8mm case is 33.1 lbs
10mm case is 31.7 lbs
I can look into drop shipping. PM me and we can work out the details. We need to bring in a large qty of cases to keep shipping low. Landed cost is a big factor in working out a
selling price.

I would take 5 or so pounds depending on price.
I would also prefer 10 mm.
