There are a couple of new events for this show:
Open Beading: Have you ever been to a scrap bookers convention? They have tons of table set up and people plan on staying the whole day and working. Think of it…beading, then shopping, then beading, then shopping…. How great it would be to make that perfect project while you are surrounded by such gorgeous products and completely inspired. Be sure to bring your beads, accessories, and an Ott Light as lighting isn’t great. We will have a couple of Ott lights for rent – first come first serve. You will need to leave your large beading bags in the Open Beading area as they will not be allowed on the showroom floor. As always we will have security watching over things. It will still be at your risk though. If you would like to reserve a space or a table please let me know right away. There will be 6 people to a large round table. If this goes real well we may do this again next year for a longer time and include lunch and such.
Bracelets for Breast Cancer; Artistic Bead’s own stitch study group is sponsoring a table to make stitched bracelets for Breast cancer and other cancers. We will start and finish them but you can sit and learn a stitch and work on one of these bracelets. If you already know the stitches but just want to help a worthy cause you are welcome to join us also. We will have all the beads and accessories there.
