In this super fun 16 hour class, Students will explore several different applications of well known techniques. The compression technique (also known as implosions to some) used for making flowers and butterflies. We will try and cover some different outside designs techniques like pinwheels and fish scales. Advanced/intermediate flame workers will make the most progress in this class, But it’s open to anyone with basic flame working knowledge. Students will be encouraged to work at their own levels. This class will focus on a fundamental understanding of your flame and core heat. An emphasis on ‘striking’ and getting the most out of your color will be addressed. Students should be comfortable working with rod.
