I would like to suggest various ivories with intense black cooked until it webs out for you.
It'll look like the webbing on those beads of Tracidawn's.

These are Amber's Naos Denim Tiger beads mixed with other etched SIS beads.
I think they look quite masculine.

I looooove bracelets on a guy!
To reduce easiest on a HH, I would take aluminum foil and make a collar, I think there are pics here on it.

When I use this, it's just gray with a tiny bit of pet. green, do yours turn out like this sample?

Beads I sold most to men were made of Effetre Dark Silver Plum 275.
All of them liked the oil slick metal look.
But I don't know how this glass works on a hot head.

My male students wear bracelets and they look just fine. The beads are usually smaller and made of stone. I notice that variations of brown are very "in". I would also add that red roof tile, esp. the version Frantz has in the Fun House section, can produce some gorgeous colors.
I teach a geology Enrichment class at the end of the day and we made bracelets. Most of the students are 12-14 yo males. I was amazed at their choices. They picked some wild things to go together. Just goes to show I have become too jaded.

Well, sure. My gay-dar is working overtime. 'Not there is anything wrong with that', but you said "masculine".

Some people are like a Slinky... not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you shove them down the stairs.

I've had more green & less green in the final bead depending on the rod and how I position the rod. Green stripe up - more green, for example.

Oh geez some people!!! Wearing a bracelet doesn't make you gay.
Christopher I'm loving all the ideas people are putting out there. Many of the options given I have on hand and think would work great too

You might want to think about putting a matt finish on just about any color combination Chris.
Etching and or tumbling will take the shine off and it turns a bead into an entirely different thing when it does not have a glossy surface.

Are you saying to take off the feminine sparkle?

So without the feminine sparkle, and an etched finish... is that a - transgender bead??
OMG... will it be able to go with me to the bathroom?

For what it's worth, I love wearing a bracelet. Last time I looked, I was not gay. Must check with wife.
No, wife says I am not gay.
Love the beads being posted. Really like that oily look. Also noticed having some relief on the surface is good. Gives a stronger-angular look.

Hate to tell ya, but according to this thread, you are a non-masculine gay dude or a chick. pick one.

FWIW, I used to get better colors on my HH than on my torch now, one reason I miss my HH!
And thanks Ladypainter! It is a cool glass and hope they explore this ivory/whatever color more, like the avorios (sp).

I covet that bead in the second picture. I'd keep it in my pocket and look at it all day!
