Default What size breaker and outlet do i need?

I am going to be installing a new wall outlet and breaker in my house for my kiln to run on separately from anything else… what Amp breaker should i buy, & what size wire do i need to run it, & anything i may need to know, ifd appreciate the help. I have a 120v Paragon Bluebird XL too btw.

well I had mine installed by the electrician and they did all that, I did need a dedicated line. Sounds like you are the same, but if you don't know the amps and wire size, etc. Perhaps let someone else install? Good luck!

As long as you are having a separate line run you might as well go to 20 amps.

It's not that much more expensive, involves all the same amount of work and if you later decide that you want to put a light bulb, radio or personal fan in the other empty outlet you won't have to reinvent the wheel.

ETA: There is a phrase in metal working "Better to be looking at it than looking for it".
